One of the advantages of living in a true historic loft is the built-in advantage f traditional, solid warehouse construction. Brick walls and 8-inch concrete floors conduct less sound. Warehouses like this were originally built to meet commercial demands, and floors supported thousands of pounds of products nd heavy equipment. You won't find new construction that compares.
