Anthony Taylor is a partner at Master Properties Minnesota, bringing a multidisciplinary background in real estate development, community engagement, and active mobility systems. Identified by LISC as an Emerging Developer, Anthony is nationally recognized for creating community-centered engagement strategies that connect transportation, public space, and equitable development outcomes—grounded in a commitment to ensuring the benefits of high-quality development extend to all communities.
Anthony previously served as Director of Equitable Development at the Cultural Wellness Center, where he advanced community investment strategies, including Community Investment Trust (CIT) models, aligning capital deployment with local ownership, cultural assets, and long-term neighborhood stability. His work includes serving as a co-developer of 3030 Nicollet in partnership with Project for Pride in Living, and as Board Chair of Midtown Global Market, one of the region’s most significant community-owned commercial assets.
His leadership spans both grassroots and systems-level work. Anthony serves on the Metropolitan Council Parks and Open Space Commission, the Governor’s Council on Aging Well, and the AARP Minnesota Executive Council, helping shape policies that integrate health, environmental justice, and intergenerational access to place.
Anthony holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He lives in Minneapolis and leads weekly curated bike rides to help others explore the city he loves.
